Donuts with Fruit Powder

Ingredients

Batter:

  • 250g wheat flour

  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder for cakes

  • 60g sugar

  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil/coconut oil

  • 3 medium eggs

  • 110ml milk or plant-based drink

  • 10g orange powder

 

Syrup:

  • 60g sugar

  • 35 ml water

  • Vanilla essence

 

Preparation

Batter:

  • Put all the ingredients for the dough in a blender and mix until you get a homogeneous dough.
  • Add the powdered fruit at the end and mix well.
  • Place the dough in the silicone molds and bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for approximately 25 min.

Syrup:

  • Bring the sugar, water and vanilla essence to medium heat and boil for approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Pass the donuts through the sugar syrup while they are still warm and then sprinkle with the powdered fruit and they are ready to serve.
